In our first session, we will discuss the problems you are experiencing that have brought you to therapy. Insurance companies require an assessment and diagnosis, so you will need to provide a brief family history and other areas of your life: education, vocation, medical history, and any previous therapy experiences.
In order to determine what symptoms you are having that are impacting your quality of life, you will be asked to complete quessionnaires. These will be completed on a HIPAA-compliant online platform.
I will answer any questions you have, and we will establish goals you want to achieve in therapy. We will discuss what works best for your situation and how we will work together to improve your quality of life.
