Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

I have used Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for 11 years and find it highly effective for individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety. I was trained by an EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) trainer over a six-month period. EMDR helps you make sense of the distressing events in your memories that continue to negatively affect your emotions and behaviors in the present. Once you process the distressing memories, you gain a different perspective, and that’s when real healing and change happen.
